Another key difference is that the RSS feeds are updated as new content is published, so you do not have to wait for the next day. Like you get a copy of your “subscribed” newspaper on a daily basis, RSS feeds provide a digital copy of the latest publications from your subscribed distributer. In our opinion, RSS feeds are like newspapers, only digital. However, now it seems that Microsoft went ahead with their plan and is all ready to test out their new RSS feed. If you do get the feature, it will be enabled by default, thus you do not require to enable an experimental flag. So do not worry if you do not see it right away. That being said, the feature is part of “Controlled feature rollout” and hence is not available to all users on the Canary channel.
